Day 8 of eating about 1400-1500 calories per day. Worked out once on 2 days, twice on 6 days. Each workout is 1 to 1.5 hours. 4/week include heavy weight lifting. Super high protein (about 180 grams of protein/day), ultra low fat (perhaps 5-7% of total intake). Energy levels are UP almost all the time. Haven't had a depressive episode, not sure if it is all factors, or just food, or that the 2nd workouts don't give time to mope. Getting more writing done than normal. Sleeping better than usual (I think). Lost 5.5 lbs. so far (note: this is from someone who worked out 6x/week before, it's not the normal fast loss most people would get, others would see more, I bet). Don't have the cravings for sweets that I normally have. Drinking more water than a camel (probably 90-120 oz./day just because I'm always thirsty, plus all my Dt. Mtn Dew). Current weight 256.5, weighed 262 at beginning.
